Unstoppable NCAA powerhouse San Beda Red Lions smites UAAP De La Salle University Green Archers, 73-66, in the 2014 PCCL Finals in Ynares Sports Arena Pasig. PCCL MVP Ola Adeogun turned-in monster numbers with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. San Beda forward Art Dela Cruz contributed 15 markers and 13 boards. Jeron Teng paced the former PCCL champ La Salle with 25 goals.

Nagpakawala ng 19 Puntos, 3 Rebounds at 1 Assist ang PCCL MVP na si Ola Adeogun para sa San Beda. Nagtala rin si Art Dela Cruz ng 15 Puntos at 13 Rebounds para sa Red Lions. Si Jeron Teng naman ay pinangunahan ang dating kampeon ng PCCL na La Salle sa kanyang 25 Puntos.
The five-time NCAA Champions San Beda fought back a resurgent La Salle after trailing 47-50 entering the final frame with a dominating 12-2 blast in the last four minutes. Adeogun, marred with foul troubles the entire game, made-up for lost time by leading the Red Lions, 62-60 via a three-point play, in the final two minutes and never trailed again.
La Salle failed to mount a come-back win against the determined NCAA champion with whom they lost the first game to, 88-81. Prince Rivero made 11 points and 8 caroms, while Ben Mbala hauled down 10 points and 12 boards for the Archers.
“We are number one in the Philippines,” stated San Beda interim coach Adonis Tiera.
