More on Samboy Lim:
Known as “The Dragon” and “The SkyWalker”, Samboy Lim was the most deserving PBA player to have never won the MVP award. Lim never finished a PBA season because of his daredevil moves which caused him severe injuries. No harm, however, can keep away Samboy as he riddled his defenders in local, Asian and international hoops scene. Samboy played every game as if it was his last. Lim was feared most by the Chinese NT just like his compatriot Allan Caidic. Samboy Lim played his whole 10 years in the PBA for only one team, the San Miguel Beermen. He was also compared to Michael Jordan by a correspondent from the Asian Journal. An American import by the name of Andy Thompson, once stated that Lim was NBA material.
• "Who won the game?" Lim asked a visiting Lastimosa. Samboy was hospitalized due to a clothesline by the latter requiring several stitches
