• Trivia:
In 2013, 15-year old Kobe made a name for himself when he dunked over NBA MVP Lebron James in an exhibition scrimmage.
• His Memorable Quote:
• “I just focus on my work and what I do I don’t want to focus on the hype. I’m just happy I’m here,” stated Kobe during his second appearance in a Lebron James exhibition game.
• What others said:
“Just keep working. Put your time in and just go hard on the court and that’s all you can do, compete, every time you get on the floor. You know, he’ll fall in the right places,” stated Jordan Clarkson on the chances of Paras making it to the NBA.

Son of popular PBA legend Benjie Paras, Kobe made a name for himself as one of the most fearsome youth prospects from the wings position. Aside from the slam dunk poster opposite Lebron James, Kobe Paras wowed the crowds of FIBA U18 3×3 in 2013 and 2015 editions by winning both Slam Dunk competions in style. His popularity was undeniable that he was given a chance to play for the Cathedral High Panthoms in Los Angeles, and was heralded as a prospect player for the UCLA Bruins in the US NCAA.
