• Trivia:
Before winning two Championships with Barangay Ginebra in the PBA, Rommel Adducul starred for the NCAA (MVP 3x), PBL (MVP 2x), and the MBA (MVP 1x). Contrary to popular opinion, Adducul played not only once for the FIBA Asia All Stars, but was a regular star for the Asian Touring quintet which played against several Asian National teams like in Manila and Taipei. Among his teammates were Korean Seo Jang Hoon and Chinese Gong Xiao Bin.

Rommel Adducul is one of the most decorated Filipino players to suit-up for the Philippine Basketball team. Adducul starred for RP Five 19-and-under FIBA Asia Championships. Rommel also steered Pilipinas to 4 SEABA titles from 1998 to 2001. The General made three for the SEAGames from 1997 to 2001. What maybe Adducul’s crowning glory was being part of the FIBA Asia All Star Selection (3x) from 1997 to 2000. Being an MBA superstar, it was in Manila year 2000 when he finally played against a PBA All-Star Team in the FIBA Asia All Star Extravaganza.
