° PBA Best Import Award Record History
° Bobby Parks is the most dominant import to play in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) history. Parks (November 26, 1961 – March 30, 2013) won the Best Import Award record Seven (7) times. He made this momentous feat while playing for two teams, Formula Shell (defunct) and San Miguel. Bobby was named to PBA Hall of Fame (second for an import) in 2009. He finished his 12 PBA years with gargantuan 9,000 Points, over 3,000 Rebounds and more than 1,000 Assists in 220 ballgames. In year 1989, he normed 52.6 points in 23 outtings with a game-high of 72.
° On October 10, 1992, Tony Harris nicknamed “Hurricane”, scored a record 105 Points against Ginebra in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) in Iloilo City. Up to this day no one has broken this historic record.
° The award was later renamed to Bobby Parks Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Best Import of the Conference award in honor of the late PBA great import Bobby Parks.
