UAAP: Far Eastern University Tamaraws impaled University of the East Red Warriors in the fourth quarter to win, 92-81, in the Season 78 UAAP Men’s Basketball this Sunday at the SM MOA Arena Pasay City. Mac Belo stamped his class with 24 points on 60% fieldgoal clip, 8 boards, 5 dishes and 2 swats. Acrobat Mike Tolomia meanwhile added 15 markers, 2 caroms and 8 assists.

Si Mac Belo ay nagpakitang gilas sa kanyang 24 puntos sa 60% na fieldgoals, 8 rebounds, 5 assists at 2 sapal. Si Mike Tolomia naman ay nagdagdag ng 15 buslo, 2 rebounds at 8 assists.

The Tamaraws bounced back from a 12-point deficit and stole the game from the Red Warriors in the fourth quarter. FEU dropped a whopping 33-point haul in the final pay-off period, while confining UE to a measly 10-point output in the same quarter.

FEU rode a 7-0 blast in the fourth courtesy of three point bombs by Tolomia and Achie Inigo.




The Tamaraws made 49% fieldgoals and 38% from the trey territory, but turned over the ball erratically 24 times to UE’s 21. Both teams dished well overall for a total of 44 identical assists.

FEU now sports a 4-1 win-loss record in UAAP 78.

The Red Warriors dropped to 2-3 slate after losing two consecutive games.

Bonbon Batiller again topscored for the defeated Red Warriors with his 18 points, 5 rebunds and 5 assists, while Chris Javier contributed 13 markers and 4 boards.
