UAAP 2015: University of Sto Tomas Growling Tigers smothered the National University Bulldogs, 65-57, in the Season 78 UAAP Men’s Basketball this Saturday October 17 at the SM MOA Arena Pasay City. UST star Kevin Ferrer pummeled down a double-double with his 13 markers and 10 rebounds, while Karim Abdul also helped with his 13 points.

Pumailanlang ang pambato ng UST na si Kevin Ferrer upang itala ang kanyang doble-doble na 13 buslo at 10 rebounds, at maging si Karim Abdul sa kanyang 13 puntos.
The Growling Tigers achieved a payback of sorts as it avenged its only loss in UAAP this season to the Bulldogs, 54-55 early in the eliminations.
UST now sports an 8-1 win-loss slate in UAAP 78 to lead the pack together with the FEU Tamaraws.
Ed Daquioag also contributed for the UST with his 10 markers.
Meanwhile, Gelo Alolino topscored for the losing Bulldogs with his own 20-point explosion. Alfred Aroga also helped with his 14 baskets.
NU is now in an alarming losing streak as it failed to win in three straight games. With the loss, the defending champions dropped to a lowly 3-6 slate.
