UAAP News 2015: National University Bulldogs mauled De La Salle University Green Archers, 81-73, in the Season 78 UAAP Men’s Basketball this Wednesday at the SM MOA Arena in Pasay City. NU’s J-Jay Alejandro led in scoring with 25, while Pao Javelona contributed 14.

Ang pambato ng NU na si J-Jay Alejandro ang nanguna sa pagkamada sa kanyang 25 puntos, pati na rin si Pao Javelona na nagdagdag ng 14 buslo.
Alejandro played hero ball for the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter, with 17 of his total 25 coming in the final canto. His flashy and-one play in the payoff period cushioned the NU lead by 9 points, 71-62.
Jeron Teng again steered La Salle with his 25 big buckets, with Andrei Caracut adding 18 markers for the losing Green Archers. DLSU is in a gloomy skid, losing 3 of its last 4 games.
NU now sports a 5-7 win-loss slate and will next battle the UP Fighting Maroons, while DLSU dropped to a dismal 5-6 record in the standings and will next face a resilient Ateneo squad.
