UAAP 2015 News: Far Eastern University Tamaraws hammered Adamson Soaring Falcons, 82-69, in the Season 78 UAAP Men’s Basketball this Wednesday October 16 at the SM MOA Arena Pasay City. Russel Escoto halted the upset-minded Falcons with his 13 baskets and 4 boards, while Raymar Jose added 12 points and 7 rebounds for FEU.
Adamson is coming off a huge upset victory over struggling DLSU Green Archers, winning by a 16-point romp. FEU would have none of it as they built a 78-64 cushion lead in the fourth to secure another victory.
FEU outdished Adamson 21-10, and shot 37% from the clip and 17% from the trey territory.
Jerome Garcia paced the losing effort of Adamson with 16 markers as Joseph Nalos contributed 15 buckets and 5 caroms for his part. Reinforcement Pape Sarr was disappointment in this game as he only managed to score 4 points on 1 of 6 shooting.
The Soaring Falcons dropped to a 2-8 win-losss slate, while the Tamaraws barged to 10-1 in the UAAP 78 standings – one win away from a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four.
FEU will resume hostilities on Saturday 7th of November opposite UST Tigers, while Adamson will gun for their third victory when they face UE later the same day.
