NCAA: Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates defeated Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, 59-45, this Thursday in Season 91 of NCAA Seniors Men’s Basketball at FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan. Import Jean Nguidjol topbilled for Lyceum with a double-double 16 points and 14 boards, while MJ Ayaay topscored with 19 markers.

Si import Jean Nguidjol ang bumuhat sa Lyceum sa kanyang doble-doble 16 puntos at 14 rebounds, maging si MJ Ayaay ay nanguna sa iskor sa kanyang 19 na buslo.
The Generals fielded a depleted line-up with Jeric Diego, Sidney Onwubere and Raymund Pascua suspended following an off-court riot at the car park of the same venue last Tuesday.
The fourth quarter told the game story for EAC which ended-up scoring only 7 points in the pay-off period.
In the second half, the Topex Robinson coached Lyceum pounded the paint as Cameroonian Nguidjol blasted his way around the Generals inside defense. Jean capped his beast-like performance with a two-handed jam off an alleyoop.
Already out of contention for the NCAA 91 Final Four, the Intramuros based squad of Lyceum wounded-up with a 4-12 win-loss slate.
EAC was led by Francis Munsayac who had 11 markers, and also Christ Mejos and Laminou Hamadou who both chipped-in 10 points apiece.
The Generals now sport a dismal 2-14 slate in the double round robin eliminations.
