NCAA: Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers evades the uprising of College of Saint Benilde Blazers, 73-69, this Tuesday in Season 91 of NCAA Seniors Men’s Basketball at The Arena in San Juan. Tey Teodoro lifted the Heavy Bombers with his 17 Points, while reinforcement Abdoul Poutouchi had 13 Markers and 15 Rebounds for JRU. The Blazers failed to get the victory despite the career record 34 monster Points of Jonathan Grey.

Nagkamada ng 17 Puntos si Tey Teodoro para buhatin ang Heavy Bombers, at gayun din si Abdoul Poutouchi sa kanyang 13 Buslo at 15 Rebounds para sa JRU. Pumalya ang Blazers na makuha ang panalo kahit nagtala ng mala-alamat na 34 Puntos si Jonathan Grey para sa CSB.
The Heavy Bombers now sport an 8-6 win-loss slate to stay in the hunt of the Final Four slot in NCAA 91.
The Vergel Meneses coached JRU is in a must win situation with four games left in their NCAA Season 91. The Bombers cannot afford any upsets as they are in a risky bid to enter the NCAA Final Four.
Paolo Pontejos also contributed 13 Points for the winning Bombers.
Jonathan Grey who dropped his historic 34 Points total, suffered cramps in the final minutes and failed to go back to the ballgame in the crucial crunchtime.
The Blazers lost their 11th game in 14 outings.
