NCAA 2015 News: San Beda College Red Lions forced its way to the Finals of NCAA Season 91 Men’s Basketball after mauling Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers, 78-68, this Tuesday at the SM MOA Arena in Pasay. AC Soberano played crunch time hero ball for San Beda and ended-up with 10 points and 4 rebounds, while Baser Amer and Roldan Sara topscored with 11 points respectively.

Namayani si AC Soberano para sa San Beda sa mga huling minuto ng laro at nagtala ng 10 puntos at 4 rebounds, gayundin si Baser Amer at Roldan Sara na kapwa nagbigay ng 11 buslo bawat isa.
The Red Lions climbed back from a 40-48 deficit courtesy of Soberano’s back-to-back treys to snatch the lead from a resilient JRU squad.
With Soberano leading the SBC squad, the Lions utilized their bench when their starters faltered in crunch time as they eliminated the Bombers to enter the Finals of NCAA for the 10th straight time.
San Beda coach Jamike Jarin defended his decision to utilize all his fifteen players in his usual rotation and that the victory and the finals re-entry of the Red Lions just proved his critics wrong.
San Beda Red Lions will be gunning for a record 6-peat NCAA Championship after defeating Vergel Meneses coached JRU Bombers. They will square-off against a game Letran Knights for the Season 91 NCAA crown in a best-of-three Finals which will commence on Friday.
