CESAFI: University of the Visayas Green Lancers massacred hapless University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers, 84-49, in Season 15 CESAFI Men’s Basketball this Sunday at the Cebu Coliseum. Rey Suerte pushed his luck to the limit by scoring 15 markers, while former Batang Gilas cager Leonard Santillan added 12 Points. The Green Lancers advanced to their 8th victory in 10 CESAFI games.

Nagpaulan ng buslo si Rey Suerte sa kanyang 15 Puntos, at maging ang dating Batang Gilas na si Leonard Santillan ay nagtala ng 12. Ito na ang ika-walong tagumpay ng Lancers sa 10 na laro sa CESAFI ngayon taon.
Playing only in his first year, Suerte made good account of himself by also dropping 4 Rebounds and 2 Assists to go with his team-high 15 markers.
Cameroonian import Steve Akomo managed to field in 4 Points but hauled down 14 Caroms for the Lancers.
UV Green Lancers, a ten-time CESAFI Champion, is in a hot chase for the basketball crown given that their last title romp came in 2013.
The USPF Panthers continues their winless ways as they drop to 0 wins in 10 games.
Lyndon Colina, the go-to guy for the Panthers again led USPF losing effort with 21 Points.
