CESAFI 2015: University of San Jose Recoletos Jaguars upset Southwestern University Cobras, 81-82, in the battle for Third place in Season 15 of CESAFI (Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc.) Men’s Basketball at the Cebu Coliseum. Ralph Jude Dinolan powered the Jaguars with 27 points, while Juan Miguel Gastador spent 24 markers.

Men’s Basketball sa Cebu Coliseum. Si Ralph Jude Dinolan ang tumikada para sa Jaguars sa kanyang 27 puntos, at gayundin si Juan Miguel Gastador na naglustay ng 24 buslo.
The Jaguars tied the hard fought series to 1-1 and will force a do-or-die game against the Cobras for the third place in CESAFI Season 15.
SWU was still leading the game with 3:52 remaining in the fourth until Dinolan steered the Jaguars two consecutive baskets to snatch the lead with 2:29 left. His split charity freethrows also forced the overtime with 70-70 fourth quarter score.
RJ Dinolan also hauled down 3 boards and 3 steals together with his stellar markers. Reliable Kevin Rey Villafranca also contributed 10 points.
The Cobras were towed by CESAFI reigning MVP Mark Jayven Tallo and Jan Michael Auditor who had 17 and 15 points respectively. Melvin Holper also added 14 baskets.
The two CESAFI squads are not only concerned with the Third place finish, but a slot in the VisMin zone of the PCCL (Philippine Collegiate Champions League ).
The final game in the war for Third is scheduled for Sunday, 11th of October.
