CESAFI Finals 2015: University of San Carlos Warriors slayed University of the Visayas Green Lancers, 64-53, to clinch Game 5 and be crowned new Champions in the Finals of CESAFI Season 15 this Tuesday at the Cebu Coliseum. Reinforcement Shooster Olago lifted USC with his monstrous 26 points, 19 rebounds and 12 steals. Olago was later named MVP for his heroic performance.

Ang import na si Shooster Olago ang bumuhat sa USC sa kanyang mala-halimaw na 26 puntos, 19 rebounds at 12 agaw. Kinoronahan si Olago nga MVP matapos ang kanyang pambihirang gilas para sa Warriors.
USC was still trailing the Finals game until the last 8 minutes of the fourth quarter when Olago powered the Warriors to tie the game 46-all with his vital charities.
Olago would continue to dominate by scoring 12 markers, part of the 14-0 USC blast that turned the game around and seal the Championship for the University of San Carlos.
Shooster who was later named CESAFI MVP, joined other Cebu stars in the Mythical Five which included his teammate Charles Pepito, SWU’s Mark Jayven Tallo, USJR’s RJ Dinolan and UV’s Leonard Santillan.
Olago also had a redemption of sorts, as he more than made-up for his dismal performance in the heartbreaking Game 5 Finals loss to SouthWestern University in 2014.
The victory was bitter sweet for USC which last bagged a Cebuano basketball title wayback in 1958, when the Cebuano league was still known as the Cebu Amateur Athletic Association.
