CESAFI Finals 2015: University of the Visayas Green Lancers rammed University of San Carlos Warriors, 60-52, to force the do-or-die Game 5 in the Finals of CESAFI Season 15 this Saturday at the Cebu Coliseum. Steve Akomo led the way for the Lancers with his 13 baskets, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocks.

Nanguna si Steve Akomo para sa Lancers sa kanyang 13 baskets, 13 rebounds, 2 assists at 2 sapal.
UV reinforcement Steve Akomo rallied against his rival Shooster Olago for the first time and steered the Green Lancers with a much needed victory. Akomo also limited Olago to a dismal 7-point performance.
Olago ended-up with early foul woes as he succumbed to his fourth foul with 8:32 remaining in the final canto. Though Olago finished with only 7 markers, he still managed to haul down 14 caroms for USC.
Francisco Arong also made an impressive performance by making 11 buckets, while Leonard Santillan chipped-in 10 markers for UV.
Meanwhile, Charles Pepito and Victor Manuel Rabat both paced the losing Warriors with 11 points respectively.
USC and UV will resume hostilities in the court for the Finals crown of CESAFI Season 15 on Tuesday.
