UAAP: De La Salle University Green Archers outlasted winless Adamson University Soaring Falcons, 88-71, in the Season 78 UAAP Men’s Basketball this Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. DLSU star forward Jeron Teng churned 18 points, 9 caroms and 5 dishes, while Thomas Torres added 16 markers and 5 assists.

Ang pambato na forward ng DLSU na si Jeron Teng ay nagtala ng 18 puntos, 9 rebounds at 5 assists, maging si Thomas Torres ay nag-ambag ng 16 puntos at 5 assists.
DLSU shot a 47% fieldgoal clip, with 37% from the trey territory, and outrebounded Adamson 21 to 10. However, the Green Archers still turned the ball over 22 times.
La Salle stretched their lead to as much as 26 in the final quarter, 56-30, before Adamson cut the bleeding to only 11 points cushion in the fourth.
Sophomore Archer Julian Sargent contributed 11 points. La Salle relied on speed and better ball movement to dominate hapless Adamson who dropped to 0-4 win-loss slate.
DLSU is now 2-2 in Season 78 UAAP standings. They will next face UE Red Warriors.
Pape Sarr topscored for Adamson with 18 markers, while Joseph Nalos added 16 points. Coach Mike Fermin was ejected from the contest after incurring his second technical foul in the fourth.
The Soaring Falcons will battle NU Bulldogs for their fifth game on Wednesday.
