CESAFI: Reigning champion Southwestern University Cobras demolishes University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers, 81-73 in the Season 15 CESAFI (Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc.) Men’s Basketball this Thursday at the University of San Carlos Cebu City. SWU veteran Janjan Auditor dropped 25 markers, while Mac Tallo posted a triple-double with 16 Points, 10 Caroms and 7 Assists.

Pumailanlang ang beteranong si Janjan Auditor sa pagbuslo ng 25 Puntos, at pati si Mac Tallo ay tumala ng triple-doble na 16 Puntos, 10 Rebounds at 7 na Pasa.

The Cobras appeared to be a more complete team than it showed in their last game against Cebu Institute of Technology-University. SWU showcased fluid ball movement and patience in getting the opening for their shooters. Five cagers ended-up with double figures to lead South Western to 7 victories against 2 losses in CESAFI.

Anton Pardo contributed 16 Points for the Cobras, and Fil-Samoan Juju Bautista chipped-in 14 markers with 13 caroms.




Karl Langahin of USPF failed to convert a clutch trey in the final quarter to bring the SWU lead to single digit. South Western capitalized with Mac Racho and Auditor taking turns to score at will and cushion the win against the Panthers.

The Cobras registered a 20 Points margin in the third canto with a score of 66-46. However, the Panthers staged an uprising to narrow the difference to 6 points, 67-61.

In the first half, SWU made a 8-0 blast opposite USPF to widen the lead 49-35.

Lyndon Colina topscored for the losing Panthers with 16 Points.
