Danny Seigle played as starter before being relegated to reserve position due to achilles fracture in the exhibition game against Qatar NT. The incident made the RP Selecta RP Team severely depleted and underpowered in the Busan Asiad without the main star player Danny “The Dynamite” Seigle. Also worth taking to consideration is the fact that main Head Coach Ron Jacobs suffered a stroke thereby making Assistant Coach Jong Uichico the replacement for the coaching job in the Asiad.
